for those of you who don't know - josh & i are back. unfortunately we had to be back sooner than we thought. just before we left, i was driving josh's car when the guy behind me hit me, pushing me into another 2 cars. the car is totaled & the guy has like zero insurance so needless to say, if for no other reason, we had to come back early just to save some money now that he needs a car.

but regardless, we had an AMAZING time. we saw 5 countries, multiple cities. rode trains, ferries, buses. met crazy people, nice people, scary people. ran into our share of great times & stressful times. but it was every bit as incredible as we had hoped. pictures are up on both of our myspace & facebook accounts if you are friends with us. it was definitely worth every penny we saved up & all the jobs we worked. unfortunately, following some lame circumstances with our jobs, we are 100% unemployed. ha. this makes things a little tough - SO, if you know of anything shoot us an email. we could use the income! :)

we made it to greece - first patra & now athens. it is a bustling city, a lot like madrid was. our neighborhood is certainly shady haha. tomorrow's agenda: the acropolis, the parthenon, etc. we spent today catching up on a lot of needed rest. we didn't even get up until 12 & out until 2 haha. but we are exhausted.

still no pictures... sorry!! there's just no way to do it here (plus we don't even bring the camera out if we don't need to - i think they'll steal & sell it for weed on our way back to the hotel!) but when we are home we'll be sure and post lots - since we'll finally be back to our wonderful MAC's!!!!!!! :)

well -- we WERE going to put up pictures but this computer is fixed up so we can't get to them. oh well. we are going to get ferry tickets to Greece at the moment. so we'll let you know how that goes once we get to Greece I suppose.

our hostel last night -- holy moly. it was the ONLY one in Brindisi & it was like we walked straight into That 70's Show & stayed the night. no toilet SEATS, flush from a string above your head, ga-ross showers, a bed that had a built in stereo and CASSETTE player with a black light installed above that - didn't work though [:(]. only pictures will EVER describe this place. you'll have to hope the internet cafes in greece work better than this one haha. we were, by the way, the ONLY people staying in the hostel & then this morning the credit card machine didn't work for us to pay so we had to walk to the nearest ATM - which could not be found. mind you, the girl wasn't even too sure where the machine was to begin with... finally, we came back & josh & one of the girls took their rusty old broken bikes to the ATM (which she had forgotten was off on some side street & NOT where she sent us...)

saying goodbye to paris!!

just checking in before we sign off the computer. we got train tickets to rome for tomorrow night around 6:30pm so we'll be in rome around 10:30am tuesday. its a 15 hour train ride but we have beds. its like an overnight sleeper car & half the price of flying!! so it should be interesting. we have a room for 3 nights in rome right now but who knows, if it goes like paris did we'll have to find somewhere to stay a few extra nights!! love you & miss you. we'll email as soon as we can in italy & upload more pictures. [we went ice skating in paris tonight!!! :)] byeee!!
