small news... not all that important..

So today we purchased our tickets to Dublin, Ireland. 

We officially leave January, Twentieth, Two-thousand and Nine.

WOOOOO WOOOOOO(for dan)

We shall start our journey there and are definitely so super stoked to be going. Wish us the best of luck and continue to pray. Thanks Everyone

Well

Not even 4 months left until we leave. Crazy!!!! God has definitely been blessing us in EVERY aspect. Thank you everyone for support. We love hearing about everyone's travels, if you have ideas or concerns for us, anything at all, even if you just want to live vicariously through us, or give us money.. haha..  But we really have been blessed. Right now I am just praying our house is done before we leave, but who knows!! AND Craig no we do not need the millions of things you think we should take... PACK LIGHT!!!!.

What do you guys think of this idea? We have been throwing around ideas today and we thought, what if we skip Central and South America and START in Ireland and go through Europe, Middle East and South East Asia to Australia. That way we are on one huge body of land. Reason being, we are not sure we have the funds to get from South America to Europe .. .. I don't know. What do you guys think?

First

Hello!

This is our first blog. It is Thursday September 4th 2008. We tentatively leave in 4 months 15 day and 11 hours. Which is going to FLY BY! Well a lot of you are asking about our trip and want to know what our plans are. Our plan is to peace out! JayKay. We are planning to leave on January 20th 2009 and travel to Mexico City via bus. That is where this all begins, the heart of Mexico. We will be traveling by land through most of Central America and down to the western South America. We are not sure where we are going to stop, but we think maybe Santiago, Chile or Buenos Aires, Argentina. We are going to fly from there to Dublin, Ireland(we need the $1300 a piece plane tickets, if anyone knows anyone). My mom and sister are most likely going to meet us there for about two weeks. From Dublin we are looking to fly to Frankfurt and travel around Europe a little bit. And our main goal is to travel all through the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia and end up in Australia. But WHO KNOWS. We're thinking about a years time but could be shorter or longer.

We are really really excited. We will be keeping blogs on here before we go and while we are out. Pictures and stuff. It will be easier than writing to all 10,000 of you fans.

Right now we are more excited because we just got our backpacks and some gear which means we can leave today if we wanted to, but we are working until January.
