Been awhile

So its been about two weeks and not much has changed.

Its now about 8 weeks until we leave.. and we are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!

We are just trying to get through the holidays and then we will be outta here!
I wish we had some excited news like; "Whoa its crazy storming here, pouring rain for about 10 hours now so we have decided to stop biking from Dublin to Cork and setup our tent for the night.. dry off and have a snack. We are just playing cards to pass the time but it is so amazing! There are about a thousand head of sheep trying to stay warm under a tree near us and I hope they don't eat our tent."

Seeing as we A wont have a computer and B are not there yet I can not write that. :( Soon.
Also soon, Dan is going to MEXICO! Dan we are so excited for you!
Pepe you should goto PNG and do mission work.
Everyone else we will soon be missing you and probably already do since we barely get to see anyone.

Well the only other thing I can say is watch this trailer

Well... well...

Oliver CromWELL...

haha jk

This is the SECOND time typing this, damn internet.

How are you all?!?!

We  are great here! It is now 2 months 14 days 'til we leave. Approximately 76 days! Dang. . But we have Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Years and stuff to get through first..

Regardless of how much time is left.. We are and have been SO excited! And we appreciate you all being excited for us.. there seems to be a new person everyday and its encouraging.

Dan we are praying for you to goto Mexico and have an amazing time!
Same with you Jon- We hope you make it to Ecuador or wherever!
and Carissa is going back to Mexico to do some more amazing work. If you want to sponsor any of them or us that would be so COOL!!!

As for the two of us, we are just working hard, saving money and doing what we can.
We have been looking at tons of options, or things we want to do or places we want to go. We are still trying to ultimately make it to Australia.

What we are looking at right now is after a bunch of European travel maybe flying from Rome or Athens to Moscow, Russia for a bit. THEN we are SO looking at the Trans-Siberian Railway.
The map below(click on it) is a route of train routes. We were looking to take it all the way from Moscow, through all of Russia, Mongolia and to Bejing, China. From there who knows but probably work our way down and hopefully to Australia.
So many people as why we don't just fly, well one its cheaper by train and two it would be amazing to take a 6 day train! through Russia! through Mongolia! through China! Its alot longer traveling but its about the experience and the scenery. Seeing and experiencing things is what this is all about.

You can check out Seat61.com for more train travel throughout Europe Asia etc.
Also if you guys wanna talk to us or ask us anything we would be more than happy!

:D

:)

well -- things seem to be working out. we are just bursting with excitement!! money is being made & saved at a crazy pace and friends are helping us out with planning & support. we seem to be setting down a more laid out plan. [though we aren't doing too much planning, can't ruin the adventure!!] a basic look at what we're thinking is ireland, down through france & spain to morocco, back up through south france to italy, & over toward greece & turkey. of course there are a few places i'd like to see other than that, slovenia, croatia, etc. so we may stray from that or head north a bit before going south into italy. but like i said, can't plan too much or we'll ruin the adventure. i'm so excited just thinking about it. this is going to be the greatest time of our lives. and it's just around the corner!! 3 months & 4 days today.

on top of all that, god has been providing so so incredibly much. we have had all the work [and then some!!] that we could possibly need to purchase what we need & save for the trip. though finding time to see each other anytime other than the last couple hours of each day is tough, we know the work is a blessing & are so very thankful. it seems like things just work out perfectly each & everytime. so praise god, he has his hand in this, we both know definitely know that!

i've been looking at ways to volunteer & give while we're out. there are going to be opportunities for us to work in orphanages, schools, churches, etc. i think of anything, THAT is what i most look forward to. i pray that god will guide us while we're out to places where we can contribute, grow, & make relationships as well as spread the word & volunteer. he knows who he is sending out & we are both more than eager to go out in this world & do his whatever his will may be in our lives.

support is way welcomed of course also. i think josh has mentioned this, but people love to live vicariously. give out our blog address/myspace, we will keep it updated, especially when we leave, & we have a donate button which is connected to our paypal account. even $5 will pay for a meal, a tube of toothpaste/shampoo, even our hostel for a night. anything is so unbelievably appreciated. so spread the word!!

thanks guys. :]
love, leslie
